MH2는 고정 프레임 포맷의 자매 제품들에 있는 모든 믹싱 기능을 가지고 있는 동시에, 동급의 여타 콘솔 보다 가격 대비 성능면에서 우수한 평가를 받고 있다. 친숙하고 편리한 운용을 위해서 Fader에서 버튼을 사용해서 그룹 또는 AUX를 선택할 수 있도록 했다. 또한, 모든 채널에 각각의 라인 입력을 사용할 수 있는 등 새로운 기능이 대폭 추가됬다.
모노 기준 24, 32,40, 48채널의 4가지 프레임 사이즈가 가능하며, 모두 유지 보수를 위해 분리할수 있는 완전히 새로운 모드의 PSU를 장착하고 있다. 물론 뒤 패널에는 외장 예비 전원공급 장치(Redundancy PSU)를 연결할 수 있는 커넥터가 있다. 이전원 공급장치를 DSP라고 한다.
